I am a huge fan of having a regular ‘morning routine’ – one that is the same every day, wherever you are and whatever is happening in your life.
Here are three good reasons for ‘your morning routine’:
1) Your morning routine SETS THE TONE for your day. It creates structure and a solid foundation on which to choose your positive mental state for a successful day ahead.
2) Your morning routine BUILDS YOUR MOMENTUM. By completing 5-6 enjoyable and familiar tasks you create momentum, which helps you build your positivity for the day ahead. You start the day on the front foot.
3) Your morning routine helps PRESERVE YOUR ENERGY and willpower for longer as it doesn’t involve any energy sapping situations, decisions or distractions.
If you don’t have a morning routine already, I recommend you set about creating one.
